University of Jordan and An-Najah National University Explore Academic Collaboration

AMMAN: The University of Jordan (UJ) and Palestine’s An-Najah National University engaged in discussions to enhance cooperation in various academic fields. The meeting, led by UJ President Natheer Obeidat and attended by Fares Abu Shamma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University, focused on potential joint initiatives in education and research.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions highlighted several key areas for collaboration, including clinical training, higher specialization programs, and scholarships for master’s and doctoral degrees. These initiatives would primarily involve the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, rehabilitation sciences, and the Institute of Public Health. UJ’s Vice President for Scientific Faculties, Ashraf Abu Karaky, also participated in the meeting, underscoring the university’s commitment to fostering international partnerships.
