TUBAS: The last Palestinian families in the Umm al-Jamal community in the northern Jordan Valley were forced to dismantle their homes and leave the community, due to escalated colonists’ attacks in the area, which are carried out under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

WAFA correspondent reported that 14 families left the Umm al-Jamal community, due to escalated colonists’ attacks in the area, including the seizure of water resources, the closure of pastures, the raiding of homes, the seizure of vehicles and agricultural tractors and livestock theft, which aim to establish a pastoral colonial outpost in the area.

Mutaz Bsharat, an official in charge of monitoring Israeli colonial activities in the Jordan Valley, stated that the last Palestinian families in the community left their homes and moved to a safer place due to the escalated violations of colonists against them. The forced displacement of residents in the said area began months ago.
