Israeli Airstrikes Target Multiple Locations Across Lebanon

BEIRUT: Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on various locations across Lebanon, targeting both open areas and specific structures, including an educational institution, according to reports. The raids, which occurred this afternoon, spanned multiple towns and districts, causing significant alarm but with no immediate reports of casualties.

According to National News Agency-Lebanon, the strikes began with an open area between the towns of Sarafand and al-Baissarieh, followed by an attack on Imam Musa al-Sadr’s Intermediate School in Qabrikha, located in the Tyre district. In the Baalbek region, the agency reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the Boudai area with two separate raids, hitting the town center and the nearby al-Hafeir area. A building in the al-Assira neighborhood was also struck, prompting emergency services to respond promptly.

Further south, in the Nabatieh district, an Israeli drone reportedly launched a guided missile at the town of Toul around 2:30 p.m. Meanwhile, additio
nal raids were conducted in the Baalbek district town of al-Ansar and al-Jumaijmeh in the Bint Jbeil district. These attacks have heightened tensions in the region, though details regarding casualties remain sparse.

In another significant development, the correspondent in Tyre detailed a raid on the valley between Qana and Siddiqin. While no casualties were reported from this specific attack, the impact on the local populace and infrastructure is yet to be fully assessed. The town of Zefta was also among the locations targeted in this series of aerial assaults.
