Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon Result in 63 Deaths and Over 200 Injuries in 24 Hours

BEIRUT: Sixty-three individuals have died and 234 have been wounded in the latest series of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. These figures contribute to a total of 2,530 fatalities and 11,803 injuries since the onset of hostilities, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency cited Dr. Nasser Yassin, the Minister of Environment and Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee, who reported that Lebanon experienced 125 airstrikes in various regions over the past 24 hours. This raises the cumulative number of airstrikes to 10,775 since the beginning of the conflict.

Dr. Yassin also noted the establishment of 1,095 centers to accommodate displaced persons, with 908 currently at full capacity. To date, 191,516 displaced individuals have been registered in these shelters, reflecting the ongoing humanitarian impact of the conflict.
