Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon: 17 Killed, 182 Wounded in Last 24 Hours

BEIRUT: In a recent surge of violence, Israeli airstrikes over the last 24 hours have resulted in the deaths of 17 individuals and injuries to 182 others in Lebanon, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health has detailed the toll from the ongoing conflict, noting that the recent casualties bring the total to 2,367 fatalities and 11,106 injuries since the conflict began. The Lebanese National News Agency further highlighted that within the same 24-hour period, 138 airstrikes targeted various regions across Lebanon, increasing the total number of airstrikes to 10,150 since the onset of hostilities.

Dr. Nasser Yassin, the Minister of Environment and Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee, revealed the strain on resources due to the escalating conflict. He noted that 1,076 centers have been established to accommodate the influx of displaced persons, with 885 of these centers now at full capacity. Additionally, 190,698 individual
s have been registered in these shelters, seeking refuge from the ongoing airstrikes.
