ABU DHABI: Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of the French Republic to the UAE, hosted a reception to celebrate his country’s National Day, which is celebrated on 14 July each year.
The event, held at the Emirates Palace Hotel on Thursday, was attended by Abdul Rahman Ali Al Neyadi, Director of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE and several members of the French community in the country.
In his speech on this occasion, the French Ambassador emphasised the strong and distinguished relations between his country and the UAE and the constant keenness to enhance cooperation in all fields, praising the wise policy of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
