Escalating Israeli Strikes Result in Over 2,400 Deaths, Reports Lebanon’s Public Health Body

Beirut: In a recent statement, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health revealed a significant rise in casualties due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes. The total death toll has now reached 2,483, with 11,628 individuals reported injured since the conflict began.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the center detailed the impact of airstrikes across various regions in the country on Monday. In South Lebanon alone, recent strikes claimed the lives of thirteen people and injured 36 others. Similarly, in Nabatieh Governorate, six were killed and 52 were wounded due to the airstrikes. The Bekaa Governorate and Mount Lebanon also reported casualties, with nine and one injuries respectively, without any fatalities recorded in these areas. The cumulative impact of Monday’s airstrikes across these regions amounted to 19 deaths and 98 injuries.
