Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan Mo’ataz Mostafa Abdel Qader has discussed with Josephine Lagu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security and acting irrigation minister of the Republic of South Sudan, a number of issues related to agriculture and food security.
The Foreign Ministry said on its Facebook page Sunday that the two sides exchanged viewpoints in the light of South Sudan’s keenness to attract joint farming projects aiming at achieving food security.
The South Sudanese minister hailed during the meeting the depth of Egyptian-South Sudanese relations at official and popular levels.
The Egyptian diplomat handed minister Lagu invitations to attend regional and African conferences Egypt will host in the coming period as the minister said she was looking forward to attend such events.
