Beirut: Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, convened a meeting with US presidential envoy Amos Hochstein at his Yarze office on Monday, focusing on the current situation in Lebanon and potential support for the Lebanese military.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions were also attended by US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson. The meeting primarily explored the overarching situation in Lebanon and examined avenues for bolstering the Lebanese army during this critical period. The specifics of the proposed support or any agreements reached during the meeting have not been disclosed.
