AUS Board Advances Academic Offerings with New PhD Programs and Board Appointments

Sharjah: The Board of Trustees at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) has greenlit the introduction of three new doctoral programs and has welcomed new members to its board, marking a significant expansion in the institution’s academic and governance capacities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Board, led by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President and Chairperson, emphasized the strategic importance of these new PhD offerings in Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. These programs aim to empower students as leaders in their respective fields, fostering innovation and addressing global challenges. The Board underscores this development as a commitment to excellence and societal impact.
