Ras Al Khaimah Ruler Discusses Trade and Cooperation with US-UAE Business Council

Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, hosted a significant meeting with Robert Raines, US Consul-General for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, along with a delegation from the US-UAE Business Council, including its President, Danny E. Sebright, at the Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island today. The meeting focused on enhancing trade relations and strategic partnerships between Ras Al Khaimah and the United States.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions aimed at exploring avenues to strengthen economic cooperation and trade relations. The dialogue also covered ways to advance strategic partnerships across various sectors, setting a foundation for ongoing progress and prosperity in both Ras Al Khaimah and the US.

During the meeting, senior business leaders and government officials from Ras Al Khaimah presented the Emirate’s development goals and business opportunities, emphasizing a thriving investment climate. This briefing was attend
ed by senior executives from prominent US companies such as Deloitte, General Motors, PwC, Boeing, and Oracle, along with high-ranking officials from the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and its Consulate in Dubai.

H.H. Sheikh Saud highlighted the importance of continual dialogue to enhance the bilateral relationship, focusing on both trade enhancement and the strengthening of human connections that underpin shared prosperity. “By fostering collaboration between our nations and businesses, we are laying the foundation for a future of greater innovation, economic growth, and mutual understanding,” said Sheikh Saud.

The US delegation expressed gratitude for the hospitality received and lauded the strong economic ties and favorable investment environment in Ras Al Khaimah. The meeting underscores a mutual commitment to deepening economic relations and exploring new growth avenues between the UAE and the US.
